An outstanding doctor, a mathematician, a brilliant philosopher and the most famous poet of all times and peoples Omar Hayyam is represented in his illustrated biography as a unique phenomenon of our civilization. He is a student of the great Avicenna, the spiritual heir of Hippocrates, Pythagoras, Plato and Aristotle, a contemporary of great scientists and thinkers, whose mathematical and philosophical ideas were developed in the works of Descartes, Newton and Lobachevsky.
In addition to the biography, the publication also included: the famous classic translation of the quatrains of Hayama I. I. Thorzhevsky, the option of translating the famous orientalist L. S. Nekora, made from the most reliable original - the Bodlian manuscript of Oxford, Rubayyat Omara Khayyam in the original language of the 1475 manuscript from the Paris National Library, as well as examples of poetic translations of Russian poets of the XIX-XX centuries.
