The history of inner Mongolia is little known to the Russian reader. This is especially true for the entry of internal Mongolia into the PRC and the position of the Mongols there during the reign of Mao Zedong. In the modern PRC, this issue is greatly ideologized, and “unwanted” facts are silent. The proposed book partially fills this gap. It is a unique collection of evidence of eyewitnesses of events almost unknown in Russia. These evidence show the large -scale repressions of the Chinese Communist Party, led by Mao Zedong against the Mongols on class and national signs, which reached the peak during the organized MAO of the cultural revolution.
