For three decades from 1974 to 2005, a cruel serial killer was horrified by the inhabitants of the city of Wichito, Kansas. All his victims - women, men and even children - were connected by complex knots and then strangled. The killer called himself BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill - to tie, torture, kill) Under this nickname, he terrorized the district for years and enjoyed correspondence with the police through the local newspaper. When he was finally caught, everyone was amazed: Dennis Raiser, a loving husband and father, a member of the children"s organization of the Boyscauts, a respected parishioner of the local church, turned out to be a cruel sadist and a strangler.
