The book searches for the causes of tragic events that occurred in the Moscow state of the mid -17th century and led to the split of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian people as a whole. In this search, the author enjoyed the works of historians of the Russian Orthodox Church, the ancient Orthodox (Old Believers) Church and secular historians of religions over the past three centuries. The authors of the works are represented by brief biographical certificates with a description of their scientific achievements and addictions.
