George Denis Patrick Karlin is one of the most successful and influential stand-up comics of all time. In the Evening Show he appeared over one hundred and thirty times, was the first host of the show Saturday evening on the air. Karlin is the only one who made fourteen special programs for the Eich-Bi-OU channel. Three of his books became bestsellers, according to New York Times. Of the twenty -three solo albums, eleven were nominated for Grammy, five times he took home the coveted figurine, including for the author’s audio version of his bestseller, “Brain Passes”.
