Shimon Perez twice became the Prime Minister of Israel, headed the Ministry of Defense of Israel, was the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Absorption, Transport and Communications, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, etc., became the 9th president of the country and 48 years (with interruptions) was a deputy of the Knesset. Perez - Laureate of the Nobel Prize of the World (1994) and the owner of the highest awards of the United States and Great Britain. In 2008, he was awarded the knightly rank. Shimon Perez also became an honorary professor of many educational institutions, including Honorary Dr. MGIMO (2010) and honorary professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2012)
