The collective monograph is devoted to Novorossiya, the vast region of the Northern Black Sea region, which became part of the Russian Empire at the end of the 18th century. Now the regions of the south and southeast of modern Ukraine belong to historical Novorossia. The book considers the centuries-old history of the region from the time of antiquity to 2014.
