The book is dedicated to the life and creative heritage of Nikolai Vladimirovich Zen (1954-1983), a gifted psychologist and an amazing person. More than 20 authors participated in its writing, many of whom are well-known representatives of psychological science and psychologists-practitioners who stood in the 1970-1990s at the origins of Russian practical psychology.

Three main plots are deployed. The first is about the book "Psychotechnical Games in Sports" (1985), written by N.V. Zen in co -authorship Yu. V. Pakhomov. The third plot is the memories of the friends of Nikolai Zen.
