The book is dedicated to the life, creative heritage, fate of ideas and philosophical prognostics of the outstanding Russian thinker Nikolai Fedorovich Fedorov (1829-1903), whose ideas lie at the origins of both the Russian religious and philosophical upsurge of the late XIX-early XX centuries, and active-evolutionary, noosphere Thoughts of the XX century. The book on vast material, including archival and little -known sources, presents the life and activities of the legendary librarian of the Rumyantsev Museum, the Moscow Socrates, his spiritual dialogue with great contemporaries - F.M. Dostoevsky, L.N. Tolstoy, V.S. Solovyov, social and cultural initiatives of the thinker. The philosophical, theological, ethical, aesthetic views of Fedorov, his understanding of the meaning and purpose of history, the idea of overcoming death and the “immanent resurrection” are examined in detail, reveals Fedorov’s attitude to world philosophical systems (Kant, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche), to the Slavophil tradition. A separate section is devoted to the fate of the ideas of the philosopher of universal business in the thoughts and culture of the XIX-XX centuries, their significance in the context of modernity, Futurology Fedorov.
