The book of E. N. Late, "The Life and Fate of Vasily Kashirin and his grandson of his Alyosha is dedicated to the history of the Nizhny Novgorod ancestors Maxim Gorky and the children"s and youthful years of the future writer in Nizhny Novgorod. The study of Yevgeny Nikolaevich lasted several decades: he traveled to different cities of the country, studied archival documents, comparing them with the biographical stories of M. Gorky and other sources ... And then, finally, many years of work is published.
The book consists of four sections. The first is dedicated to the Balakhnian roots of the family, the second describes the life of the Kashirins in Nizhny Novgorod, in the third we learn the true chronology of Alyosha Nizhny Novgorod childhood. Of particular interest is the fourth part where the author considers individual plots of the story "in people", comparing them with the events of real life
