The publication represents a photo album in which members of the royal family are captured during her stay in the Tobolsk link. These photographs were taken by both the August prisoners themselves and persons from their closest environment-teachers of the French and English languages of the august children of their imperial majesty-P. Housing (1879-1962) and C. Gibbs (1876-1963) in 1917-1918 . Some photos are published for the first time.
The album is equipped with numerous excerpts from personal diaries of the August couple, excerpts from the diaries of the memoirs of persons close to it, as well as representatives of the Bogoborian Soviet power.
