The main event around which the content of the book is built is associated with the feat and the dramatic fate of the test pilot-testing of the Summarian Institute named after M. M. Gromov Hero of Russia Anatoly Demyanovich Grishchenko. The book tells about his selfless struggle with the consequences of the world technogenic disaster in Chernobyl along with other test pilots, as well as numerous military and civilian helicopters. Against this background shows an extremely important role of helicopters in solving a wide range of problems of the national economy and defense of the country. The great importance of aviation science and design bureaus in the creation of this complex, constantly improved rotorlastic technique is emphasized.
