Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn is a rare example of a tribune writer in modern literature, a monalist writer. His biography contained the war and camps, the Nobel Prize and persecution, which ended with exile from the USSR. The 20 years spent in exile did not break Solzhenitsyn’s connection with his homeland - immediately after the triumphal return to Moscow, he joined in public life, thinking tensely about “how to equip Russia”. Without softening the expressions, not trying to please those in power, he many times aroused the fire of criticism on the right and left, but retained the high moral authority and the title of a living classic of modern Russian literature. His first full biography was written by the famous historian L.I. Saraskina on the basis of unique archival documents, conversations with Solzhenitsyn himself and his family members
