The fiction biography includes four parts, in each of which the author considers a certain stage in the life and work of the outstanding Russian writer Anatoly Tikhonovich Gladilin. A significant part of the text is composed of fragments of conversations with relatives, colleagues, friends of the hero, Russian, French and American specialists in Gladilin"s work, episodes from articles and interviews. Among them, Vasily Aksenov, Alexander Kabakov, Mikhail Weller, Elendaa Proffer, Georges Niva, Veronika Dolina and others, as well as close Gladilin.
