The readers are offered the book of theatrical memoirs and notes of the St. Petersburg artist Anatoly Sergeyevich Nikiforov. Today, Anatoly Nikiforov is known as the director of the St. Petersburg State Ballet Theater. He devoted more than seven decades to the art of dance and theater, first, in 1940-50 - as a student of the famous school named after A.Ya. Vaganova, then, in the 1950-80s - as a dancer of the Kirov (Mariinsky) theater, and, finally, as a teacher and leader of children"s and adult ballet groups. The book contains interesting facts of the author’s biography, a description of creative events, a witness and a participant of which he happened to be, as well as impressions of his meetings with the famous personalities of the world of art. Special attention is paid to the author’s activities in the children"s studio and the children"s ballet theater.
