Joanna Stingrey is an American singer, a musical producer and public figure, one of the significant persons and popularizers of the Soviet and post-Soviet rock culture in the West.

The publicity was in full swing, the people on the streets seemed noticeably more free and happier. The new era also came in Russian rock-the underwriting period remained in history ... Many new interesting groups were published on the rock club, the appearance of which in 1987 I missed because of my status of the “enemy of the state” and the impossibility of coming to come in Russia. Therefore, it was especially pleasant to see that life in a rock club and on a rock scene in the country is hit with a key with the advent of such groups as DDT,
Nautilus Pompilius, Tealez, Chayf, Kalinov, Kalinov The bridge ”and many others ...”
