The fifth volume of the Russian Chinese Chinese - oral history "contains 11 interviews with well -known domestic Chinese. In these interviews, recorded in 2012-2022, the professional activities and fate of the heroes of the project - their biographies, study and career, scientific research, memories of teachers, colleagues and students, views on China, the history of domestic and world Chinese, are presented. -Chinese relations, etc. The published materials also allow more fully, sometimes uniquely reconstructing the most important institutional, personnel and intellectual trajectories of the historical development of domestic Chinese. The main feature of the volume is the restoration of the gender balance, which was disturbed in previous volumes (7 out of 11 heroes of the interview published here - ladies), confirming that since at least the 1960s. And in the post-Soviet period, women-persons are invariably occupied by leading positions in many key spheres of modern Russian-speaking synology, such as history, economics, literature and linguistics. This volume again introduces colleagues representing a variety of regions of Russia and the former USSR, and sometimes two or three regions at once - Moscow (S.A. Gorbunova, A.Sh. Kadyrbaev, L.I. Kondrashova, A.G. Larin Larin , E.L. Mamaeva, B.Ya. Nadtochenko, L.P. Pivovarova), St. Petersburg (B.G. Doronin, A.Sh. Kadyrbaev, T.Kh. Tomikhai), Omsk (T.V. Ioffe ), Vladivostok (A.Sh. Kadyrbaev, T.Kh. Tomikhai), and even Kazakhstan in the person of K.Sh. Khafizova, who lives and works in Alma-Ata. A.Sh. was also connected with many years of study, scientific work and teaching in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Kadyrbaev and B.Ya. Nadtochenko. Thus, the published interviews further expand the spatial picture of modern Chinese studies, once united within the USSR, but dramatically separated by new state borders in the post -Soviet era.
The published series is a partner part of the international project "China Studies - Epistemology of the Oral History", which over 15 years has already covered more than 45 countries and regions of the world
