"Russia is our love" - these are the memories of outstanding Polish specialists in the history, literature and culture of Russia Victoria and Rene Slovsky. Victoria (1931-2021)-a historian related to the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Honorary Doctor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, author of hundreds of works on Polish-Russian relations in the 19th century. Her publications about Alexander Herzen and the fate of exile Poles in Siberia have firmly entered the historiography. Rene (1930-2015)-literary critic, translator and teacher of the Institute of Russiansistry of the University of Warsaw, expert on the works of Anton Chekhov, Andrei Platonov and Russian emigration. The book talks about life, work, friends and acquaintances. But first of all, it is dedicated to Russia, which they discovered for themselves for more than 70 years since studying in Leningrad, Russia, which they describe with great knowledge of the matter, sympathy, but not without criticism. The book is also an important source for studying the biographies of Russian writers and scientists with whom the Slovovsky family, including Yuri Lotman, Roman Jacobson, Nathan Eidelman, Juliana Oxman, Stanislav Rassadin, Vladimir Dyakov, Olga Morozova, was friends
