Vasily Mikhailovich Zarubin (February 4, 1894, Panino, Bronnitsky district, Moscow province, Russian Empire-September 18, 1972 [2], Moscow)-Soviet intelligence officer, major general (July 9, 1945).
Born in the village of Panino Bronnitsky district of the Moscow province. His father-the conductor of the Moscow-Kurskaya station-was a member of the RSDLP [3] [4]. In total, the family, in addition to Vasily, had 12 children, two of which later also worked in state security organs.
