"Sometimes it seems that the song is an anomaly. Like something, so optional, in general it can exist and cause addiction, it is incomprehensible. And on the other hand, how to present your life without a song? And is there one who does not sing? "

Pavel Artemyev went from a student of the Italian Conservatory to Pop Idol in the group of Igor Matvienko at the Factory of Stars and ultimately founded his own Indie project by Artemiev, whose repertoire is not at all like his career in the Boys-Bend. These are songs about the family, about death, about people and houses around us, about God, about loneliness, hope and, of course, about love. They are written in English and in Russian.

The text of each song always becomes complete only in co -authorship, in the interpretation of the listeners. But still, if you are interested in, under what circumstances these verses were composed and what was on the author’s heart, what he wanted to tell the world, then this book will help you find answers.

Each song is a story that awaits that it will be noticed.

“Sometimes it seems that the song is an anomaly. Like something, so optional, in general it can exist and cause addiction, it is incomprehensible. And on the other hand, how to present your life without a song? And is there one who does not sing?

Once upon a time, when Pavel Artemyev studied at a conservatory in Milan, he wrote a rather serious song. In it, he tried to imagine the feelings that the Messiah experienced, being crucified on the cross. And what is the irony that it was this song that gave the name to one of the most famous Boyz Bends in the country and became his hallmark. Yes, we are talking about I lose the roots and fly into the sky.
Pavel Artemyev recalls his experience at the Factory of Stars with a smile, but it seems, without special nostalgia - because the repertoire that Igor Matvienko composed for the group was not close to the soul of the artist. Pavel liked more lyrical songs on complex topics: the loneliness of the soul, the limb of life and the immortality of our loved ones, small people surviving in big cities. And, of course, these were songs about love and hope, about the funny lights that are in the heart of each of us.
And all this was embodied in the Artemiev indie project. The collection Biography of Songs includes texts and the history of their creation. This is not a meticulous explanation from the category of “what the author wanted to say”, rather a diary of memories and feelings, moments, events that served as a background for writing a particular song.
A rare opportunity to communicate with the Creator directly, and with fans of the melancholy and sensual work of Pavel Artemyev, now she eats
