Lev Davidovich Trotsky is a progressive revolutionary figure, one of the brightest political figures of the 20th century. The author of the theory of permanent revolution, practices and theorist of Marxism - L.D. Trotsky - became the creator of capital historical works on the 1917 revolution, many critical articles and autobiographies.
The book “Our First Revolution” is a collection of articles, documents and essays covering the period from the 1905 Bloody Sunday Eve before the beginning of 1907. Written in 1908-1909. The articles included in the second part of this publication are distinguished by the sobriety and objectivity of the narrative, and therefore help more fully and consistently illustrate the events of the first Russian revolution
