Alexander Novikov - a poet, singer, composer, author of more than three hundred songs and artistic director of the Ural State Pop -stage. In 1984, he recorded his famous album "Belie me, cabman". Immediately after that, on a fabricated criminal prosecution, he was convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison. Before the verdict was canceled by the Supreme Court of Russia, and the prosecution was declared illegal, Alexander Novikov had to spend six years in prison.
