The book is dedicated to the Russian poet, philosopher and historian F. I. Dmitriev-Mamonov (1728–1805), who wrote under the pseudonym noble philosopher. It contains previously unknown facts of the biography of one of the most eccentric originals of the Catherine’s time, and the epic “Russia“ poem ”, the philosophical treatise of“ theology ”and other works that remained in the manuscripts are first published. The texts are accompanied by an extensive commentary, immersing in the intellectual and everyday life of that era.
