Nina Lvovna Dorliac (1908-1998) - an outstanding chamber singer and a vocal teacher, who, on the one hand, expressed in her work all the best that was in the Russian tradition, and, on the other hand, handed her students those special secrets that needed in the performance of chamber music. The author of the book Karina Morgunova is a student of Nina Dorliak, and she, with great care, describes all the stages of the singer’s creative path. Of course, a very important point in the development of the individuality of Dorliac with Svyatoslav Richter, the singer’s husband, one of the biggest musicians of his time. The book also provides materials about the teachers of Dorliac, to whom, first of all, the mother of singer Ksenia Dorliak belonged, and about her students, including Galina Pisarenko and Elena Bryleva
