The collection proposed to the reader is dedicated to one of the key figures of the musical life of Russia at the beginning of the 20th century - composer Alexander Nikolayevich Skryabin (1872-1915) The publication presents interviews, letters to V.I. Scriabina, and T.F. Schlözer-Skryabina to friends, as well as poems dedicated to the composer. A significant part of the collection is occupied by the memories of the Scriabin of contemporaries, including the daughter of the composer Maria and Marina, his cousin Apollo, poet K. Balmont, violinist N. Avierino, pianists M. Meychik, A. Drozdov, Emil Boske, musicologist Rosa Newmarch. Many texts are published for the first time.
The application publishes the full texts of both issues of the "Izvestia of the Petrograd Skryabinsk Society" and two essays by A. S. Skryabin and V.V. Popkov, dedicated to the biographies of the composer and the history of Scriabin societies. The book is illustrated by photographs, facsimile reproduction of documents and is equipped with the necessary reference apparatus.
The publication is addressed to music historians, as well as to everyone interested in the history of domestic culture.
