Ernst Werner von Siemens (1816 - 1892) - a famous German engineer, an inventor of electrical machines and mechanisms, a corresponding member of SPban, industrialist. In 1847, together with his friend and like -minded Johann George Galsk, he founded his own telegraph company Telegraphenbauanstalt Siemens & Halske or abbreviated s & h. Since 1853, the S&N company was building a number of telegraph lines in Russia, having connected St. Petersburg with Kronstadt, Gelsingfors, Warsaw, Riga, Revel and assuming their maintenance. He invented and established the production of telegraph equipment, dynamo machines, cable-heating equipment (ground and sea), electric trams and elevators, electric railways, etc. The book was made using the Printing technology on demand.
