During its heyday, the Mongol Empire, formed in the XIII century as a result of the conquests of Genghis Khan and its successors, included the largest of the unified state territory that had ever existed, stretching from Eastern Europe to the Sea of Japan and from Russian Novgorod to Southeast Asia. A brief presentation of the history of the Mongol Empire covers the period from birth between 1155 and 1162 Temujin (future Genghis Khan), which later founded a single Mongol state, up to the last quarter of the XIV century, marked by the fall of the Mongol Empire and the defeat of the Mongolian Empire of the Yuan. The very beginning of the 16th century was also affected, when Ismail I, the founder of the Sephevid dynasty, was captured by a tabriz, which put an end to the existence of the Turko-Mansky state of Ak-Kounlu. The Mongol Empire is shown in the book as a complex, civilized and persistent state, which had a long and multifaceted influence on the surrounding lands. In the presentation, various historical, political and cultural threads are interwoven, which are formed in a whole picture, designed to show how and why Genghis Khan and his successors achieved such incredible successes.
