Yakov Danilovich Mintchenkov (1878-1938) - a native of Lugansk Cossacks, a student of N.A. Kasatkina and V.A. Serova. Active participant in the partnership of mobile art exhibitions, painter, sculptor and teacher. Unfortunately, most of his works died during the Great Patriotic War, but we remained his memories of the Wanderers, first published back in 1940 and for many years, enjoyed. Live, vivid, very emotional, portrait and psychologically multifaceted stories of Mintchenkov about their colleagues, famous and not very, Russian artists, are unlikely to leave indifferent any reader
