Jacques-Joachim (Joacen) Trotti, Marquis de La Schetardi (1705-1759)-French diplomat and general, ambassador of the French king Louis XV at the Russian Imperial Court, one of the key figures of the coup d"etat of 1742. He contributed to the overthrow of Anna Leopoldovna and the coming to power Elizabeth Petrovna and was one of the people closest to the empress.
