The Malakhov landscape collection is memories of the country and not only country life, about childhood and those people who lived in Malakhovka. The authors of the memoirs are philologists, linguists, artists, teachers, journalists. The word "landscape" is a metaphor. Not the landscape of the village near Moscow - both natural and architectural - is described here, but rather the way of life of those who inhabited and inhabit Malakhovka. The book also included the stories of writers whose life is related to Malakhovka - George Ball (1927-2011), Vladimir Mikushevich, Leo Rubinstein, Viktor Shenderovich and the poem by Vladimir Strogkov. The collection of interviews, taken from those who determine the current cultural life of Malakhovka, completes the collection.
