The book presents the memoirs of the daughter of a unique artist of decorative talent of Anna Maksimovna Efimova, who worked at the Leningrad Porcelain Plant. Efimova’s life and work took place in the turning and tragic years of the XX century, which influenced her fate and her work. The painting of the artist are stored in the collections of the State Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Plant, and in private collections. The author also writes about his father, an outstanding astrophysicist A. V. Solovyov, who has worked for many years as director of the Stalinabad observatory.
