This book is surprisingly different from many written about General Kornilov. Its author, Rezak Bek Khan Khadzhiev, for several years was close to a famous general and headed his personal convoy from the Tekinsky horse regiment, formed from the inhabitants of Turkmenistan. With eastern directness, the officer Khan Khadzhiev writes about his general - "great boyars", as the Kornilov’s dedicated riders from Asia called him. The book talks about the first battles of the Volunteer Army and the tragic death of General L.G. Kornilova
