The present publication included letters from Archpriest George Florovsky (1893-1979)-a major Orthodox church figure, historian, philosopher and theologian-to his eldest brother, historian Anthony Florovsky (1884-1968).
The main part of the letters dates back to the time when George Florovsky worked in the USA, at Harvard and Princeton Universities, and his brother was a professor of Karlov University in Prague. Letters from the Prague Archive of the National Library of the Czech Republic (Slavic library) describe the circumstances of the move of prot. G. Florovsky in the United States, as a result of the sophiological disputes taking place at the St. Sergius Orthodox Institute in Paris, reflect the scientific interests of both brothers, characterize Russian, Polish and other emigrant scientists, introduce readers with the development of Orthodox theology and ecumenical discussions In the last century. Published for the first time
