A small book is in some way a biographical reference book, which through the description of the life and activities of the rulers of the Kazan Khanate based on Russian-speaking sources of the XV-XVI centuries. Allows you to trace the basic chronology of the formation and development of state power in the Kazan Khanate. The author analyzes almost all well -known Russian chronicles, as well as discharge and embassy books, where the issues of the relationship between Moscow and Kazan were somehow raised and the personalities of the rulers of the khanate were mentioned.
The author dedicated the book to his teacher and scientific leader - the Tatar historian, archaeographer and writer Mirkasyma Usmanov, who approved the idea of the book of the book, primarily the chronology and the spelling of the names of the rulers.
