Julian apostate (332–363)-Roman emperor Julian, ruled from 361 to 363, philosopher-neoplatonik, writer. In history, he is known as the apostate (Greek apostat), that was the name of him by Christians. He devoted his life to the revival of the pagan cults, which he understood as the center of ancient culture.
