Baron Marie Daniel Burre de Corberon (1748-1810) is a French diplomat, which has been in the diplomatic mission in Russia since 1775. He left notes that are a valuable source in the era of Catherine II. He began to serve in the regiment of the French Guard, participated in the hostilities of 1764-1768. In 1773, he began the diplomatic service as an adviser to the mission in Kassel. Since 1775, he was determined by the secretary in the retinue of the French envoy of the Marquis de Juin at the court of Catherine II. From November 1777 to October 1780 he held the position of attorney in business.
