Baby food is one of the most dynamically developing areas of dietetics and nutrition. In many ways, this is facilitated by the use of modern technologies in the production of children"s food, which allow us to implement in practice the achievements of nutritional science. This edition highlights the most pressing issues of nutrition organization of various groups of children"s population, pregnant and lactating women, taking into account the new recommendations of the National Feeding Program for Children of the First Year of Life in the Russian Federation, approved in 2019, a characteristic of the main types of specialized food products, children including artificial feeding mixtures, feed food products, dietary and preventive food products, biologically active food additives, as well as water, the requirements for which are changed in accordance with the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “0 Safety of Packed drinking water, including natural mineral water” (TR EAEU 044/2017), which entered into force since 2020. The periodic orientation of the publication will timely reflect all innovations in baby food and increase the awareness of specialists on children"s dietetics and nutrition.
