The collection of materials includes the unique diary of Petrova-Vodkin "History of one birth", the full version of the memoirs of the daughter of the artist E.K. Dunaeva "Touch to the soul, the memoirs of L. L. Urlaub about his friend Petrov-Vodkin and the memories of V. A. Pushkareva about "second discovery" of the artist in the mid -sixties. The book includes art historians S. M. Daniel and N.P. Khmeleva about the artist’s work in the 1920s-E-1930s, the texts of the interview and performances of the artist himself, in which he spoke in detail about his work, about the attitude to art and the attitude to art and to life.
