Not a single artist was honored with such popular recognition and not one was subjected to such fierce persecution of professional criticism, such as Ilya Sergeyevich Glazunov, the founder of the Russian Academy of Painting, sculpture and architecture, an outstanding personality of the 20th century. His life is reminiscent of a permanent volcano, erupting the avalanche of goodness for people, friends, students and streams of hatred of evil, adepts of the avant -garde, which is opposed to a thousand paintings written by him for the glory of high realism.
