K. I. Chukovsky left an extensive creative heritage, including journalism, translations, literary criticism, work on philology, memoirism. Of great interest are the diaries that he led all his life.

This is the time when Chukovsky was in the prime of creative forces, when he was truly all -Union fame and his works for children were specially successful.
