All this personal, very complex and contradictory story - two children and an adult, the world -famous polar explorer - has become the subject of the interest of the famous Norwegian author and researcher of the life of R. Amundsen Espen Itreberg. The book tells about the life path of Nita Kakot and Camille Karpendale, about how their fate was bizarrely intertwined with the fate of Amundsen himself, and why he had to return them to his homeland.
