At the same time, Mannerheim needed the country not only when it fought, but also when the war had to end. President Mannerheim brought Finland from World War II, signing a truce with the USSR in 1944. He was an extraordinary person, a bright and strong man who lived in a turbulent time, when the empires and countries were born. His fate is inseparable from the fate of Finland, but it belongs to Russia
