The book “Green flashes over the Red River” returns the reader during the first years of the existence of Soviet power and talks about the tragic events of this period that occurred in the territory of Vladimir, Ivanovo-Voznesensky and Yaroslavl provinces. Events are associated with the movement of the Green Army, consisting of deserters and opponents of the new regime. A separate chapter is devoted to the life and creativity of the undeservedly forgotten writer Timofei Pavlovich Dmitriev. It was he who was the first in artistic form to talk about those events in his novel Green Zyb.
