The Great Patriotic War burst into every house in our country, seized every family. Our fathers and grandfathers, mothers and grandmothers courageously defended their homeland and, without sparing life, saved the world from the "brown plague". And they are all worthy of bright memory. And each of them is a hero! That is why the book was reflected in the book by the glorious combat exploits of our compatriots, both awarded the highest awards and ordinary front workers.
In the village of Petrishchevo, by the Nazis, the 18-year-old Soviet intelligence officer and saboteur Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya (1923-1941), called "Tanya", was hanged by the Nazi. Zoya was captured by the Nazis when completing her second task: she made her way to the village of Petrishchevo, where the headquarters of the German part was located. She managed to cut the telephone wires and set fire to the stable, but she was captured. Despite the brutal torture, she refused to give information about her task, hiding her real name, and was executed. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union (the first among women participating in the war) Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was awarded posthumously on February 16, 1942.
Simultaneously with Zoe, in the village next to Petrishchevo, another torch of Zoe - Vera Voloshin (by the way, Vera was a model of sculptor Ivan Shadra: the famous “Girl with the oar”, which stood in Each park is faith) On her combat account, seven successful sending to the rear of the Nazi troops.
