In the history of the Civil War in Russia (1917-1922), the figure of the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of the South of Russia, General A.I. Denikin (1872-1947) is extremely contradictory. The winnings hated the general as the most successful white commander, who delivered a lot of troubles to them, but gave him his due for fundamental and sequence, the desire to preserve a single country, contrary to the actions of the Allies. The losers considered him not sufficiently charismatic figure against the backdrop of the legendary personalities of white business, who failed to achieve the goal of strategic errors. At the same time, his ability to protect their positions at the front and in the most difficult negotiations with interventionists noted. General Denikin lived in exile for many decades, but carried his patriotic views through all these years and through the Second World War, not staining himself with the Nazis
