In the first book of the trilogy - “From the shores of Pinega ...”, who has incorporated the periods of the writer from 1920 to 1952 ., tells about the history of the native village of Fyodor Abramov - Vykols, about the children"s, school and student years of the future writer, about his work at the University of Leningrad, participation in the Great Patriotic War and Service Service. The book is addressed to the mass reader.
This book is a tribute to the Russian writer, the classics of Russian literature, one of the most striking representatives of the rustic prose - Fedor Aleksandrovich Abramov (1920–1983), whose works were included in the Golden Fund not only of Russian, but also in world literature. The scale of this literary work has no analogues. Written in the style of artistic narrative on all strict canons of a deep literary research, it is fundamentally different from all previously published books about Fedor Abramov, since it is based on the writer’s personal archive for the first time stored at the Institute of Russian Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Pushkin House) By the method of deep, constructive analysis, the author was able not only to trace many life and literary ups and downs in the writer"s biography, hitherto hidden by a veil of the time, but also to correct many mistakes in his biographies, roaring from the book to a book about him. The readers will appear not only by the writer Fedor Abramov, the laureate of the USSR State Prize, a recognized master of the word, but simply a person of his time.
