Oleg Kassini (1913-2006) is an aristocrat of Russian origin, the famous American clothing designer of the mid -20th century. He worked in Hollywood, creating costumes for many films. He was married to the Hollywood star Gene Tyrny. After the divorce from her, he was engaged to Grace Kelly, but their marriage did not take place due to the opposition of the Grace family. In 1960, he was declared the official fashion designer Jacqueline Kennedy, the first Lady of the United States, and created her recognizable unique style. By his own admission of Cassini, he happened to wear (and undress) many famous women of the twentieth century. This is described in his exciting autobiography, first published in Russian
