Nikolai Mikhailovich Amosov is a world -famous doctor, known for his heart operations and unique methods of extending life. On the first day of World War II, he volunteered to go to the army and was appointed surgeon in the field hospital. In incredibly difficult conditions, doctors saved the wounded in battles near Moscow and Stalingrad, in Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, and then were still sent to the Far East and participated in the war with Japan.
