The book presents the fictional biography of Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky - the Polish revolutionary, a native of a poor noble family, who devoted his life to the struggle against the royal autocracy. For his revolutionary activity, he was arrested six times, fled three times, and again completely surrendered to revolutionary work. The best son of the party, Dzerzhinsky headed an important organ - the Cheka. Since 1924, he managed the work of the highest economic body of the country - the Supreme Economic Council and combined this work with the leadership of the OGPU.
