Vaclav Nizhinsky (1889–1950) - the eighth miracle of light, the king of air, the god of dance, as his contemporaries called him, is an outstanding dancer and choreographer, who made a noticeable contribution to the art of Russian ballet. Unusual talent - first on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater, then as part of the troupe of Sergei Diaghilev. The images created by him in the ballets of I. Stravinsky, K. Debussy, A. Adan entered the classics of world choreography, and the best dancers of the world began to imitate Nizhinsky himself. His glory was huge, but unexpectedly at the peak of his career, he had to leave the scene: the artist had a serious mental illness.
